Confectioner's Custard

Ingredients

  • 2 cup(s) plain or vanilla soymilk
  • 1/8 cup(s) honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup soymilk

 

Instructions

Heat the soymilk, honey and vanilla over medium heat . Add the dissolved cornstarch and cook until desired consistency. Great as a dessert with fruits or as a pie filling.

Optional: Add 2 tablespoons of lemon or orange zest to the hot cream and stir.

Serves 4
