Pineapple Banana Smoothie

Ingredients
- 398 mL crushed pineapple, sweetened
- 1 banana
- 1 mL coconut or vanilla flavouring
- 250 mL soymilk
Instructions
In a blender, combine pineapple with flavouring and broken-up banana.
Pour soymilk into blender and mix until smooth.
Serves 2
Variation
- Blending 250 mL soymilk with a banana gives it a smooth, rich
texture and makes a good base for a variety of delicious smoothies.
- Try adding 30 mL of chocolate syrup and 15 mL of peanut butter
to your smoothie base for a flavourful chocolate peanut butter smoothie.
- For a healthy fruit smoothie, add 30 mL of frozen juice concentrate
and 75 mL of frozen fruit to the soymilk/ banana base.
- 125 mL silken tofu makes a great addition to any smoothie
