Tofu Chili

A hearty chili that’s ready in no time. Serve with salad and rolls for a complete meal.

Ingredients

1 tsp vegetable oil 5 ml
1/2 cup(s) chopped onion 125 ml
1 pkg Extra-firm tofu, crumbled 350 g
1 pkg chili seasoning 1 pkg
1 can(s) (10 oz) mushroom pieces, drained 1 can(s) (284 ml)
1 can(s) (14 oz) kidney beans, drained 1 can(s) (398 ml)
1 can(s) (5.5 oz) tomato paste 1 can(s) (156 ml)
1 can(s) (28 oz) diced tomatoes 1 can(s) (796 ml)

Instructions

In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and cook onion until soft. Crumble tofu into pan and add chili
seasoning. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thoroughly cooked.
